Open Table

April 18 @ 9:00 am 5:00 pm

Pull up a chair. Let’s talk.

Open Table is a structured, relational space designed to support students academically and personally. It creates intentional time for meaningful conversation, guidance, and connection beyond the classroom.

During Open Table, students can:

• Ask academic or institutional questions
• Receive tutoring or assignment support
• Engage in conversation with faculty and staff
• Fellowship with peers in an informal, welcoming setting

Faculty, staff, and student leaders will be present to listen, encourage, and provide practical guidance. While Open Table primarily serves Foster students, it reflects a campus culture built on access, accountability, and care.

Why It Matters

Academic Support
Students can receive clarity on assignments, tutoring assistance, and direction before small challenges become larger obstacles.

Student Voice & Access
Open Table reinforces that leadership is accessible. Students can ask meaningful questions about academics, policies, finances, or campus life in a healthy and supportive environment.

Retention & Belonging
When students feel heard and supported, they stay engaged. Open Table strengthens trust, psychological safety, and community connection.

Culture Formation
This gathering reflects the kind of institution Foster strives to be: relational, responsive, gospel-centered, and student-focused.

Student voice matters. Support extends beyond the syllabus.

We look forward to seeing you at the table.
